Modern Wound Pickups are designed for those who need more power and drive for their amps without being over the top. These are higher output however, they were specifically designed to be clear and loud without muddying up your sound like many overwound pickups can be. If you need to fatten up your sound, or increase your sustain and output, look no further than our Modern Wound pickups. These are recommended for bright guitars or players who like to use higher gain settings. Don't be fooled with the high output, these will still clean up very nicely, especially for bright sounding guitars and amps.

Modern Wound Strat pickups were designed to have increased output and bass response without sacrificing clarity or losing emphasis on exceptional Strat tone. They come stock with our special flat alnico magnets and formvar wire. Unlike most high output single coil Strat pickups, these pickups remain very clear and articulate while driving your amp harder to achieve a more aggressive style of playing. The neck pickup is fat and very clear with a RWRP middle to achieve hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4. The bridge pickup has enhanced bass response and more output for a smoother sounding Strat bridge pickup.
