Fatboy Classic Green Guard Set. I build these as close as i can get to the old 62 vintage pickups that were found fitted into the old nitro green guards. I put a small bevel onto the Alnico V .195" magnets, fit them into black fibre board flatwork using the vintage stagger and seal with lacquer. They are then wound by hand using 42 gauge formvar wire with a tight vintage winding pattern. The sets are wound to @6.2K-6.4K with the middle pickup RW/RP for hum cancel in positions 2&4. Each pickup is then dipped in a mixture of Isle of Wight beeswax and paraffin to encapsulate the coil.
Classic 62 Single coil tone, Hollow, tight snappy bottom end with creamy bell tone highs.
