This aluminum ground plate based on an original from a '57 Strat. Fender used this rigid plate from 1954 thru 1959 with their single-ply pickguards. It fits the underside of the pickguard to ground the controls and shield them from RF noise.
Made of 0.020" (0.5mm) thick aluminum
Holes for the pots are 3/8" (9.53mm) diameter
Switch mounting screw spacing is 1-5/8" (41.28mm)
